Parts are on order and furnace is working for now, parts to come next week. Dan explained things in terms I could understand and am following his recommendation to the letter. May be pricey, but get only what you pay for today.
We were happy with the service provided and the explanation of our problem with our AC and then having the manager come out to also take a look to see if he agreed with the issue. Nice to know they have our back.
would recommend you to anyone
Kody Wojtalewicz was very Professional, I felt he went above and beyond, A plus service.
Completed installation of an HRV. Ducted the HRV unit to the furnace return duct, and to an intake and exhaust hood that penetrate the basement walls to the exterior of the home. Installed the control on the wall under the thermostat and ran wire to the HRV. Also ran a 2 wire to the furnace to interlock the HRV to the furnace fan. Run tested the unit but will schedule a time for Rick to come do a walk through. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak Heating and Electric. Please take a moment to fill out our online survey.
Was here to replace the gas valve. Tested the furnace. Pulled off and cleared one of the pressure switch tubes. The furnace fired up. Took a combustion reading. No co in the air stream. The furnace is running normally at this time.
I replaced the hw board in the geo unit. I cycled the geo in forced air heat and radiant heat modes. the geo unit is operating properly.
Furnace clean and tune. Removed and cleaned burners and flame sensor. Ohmed igniter. Cleared drain. Inspected electrical, gas piping and venting. Ran and tested unit. Found CO to be a bit on the high side, was unable to test due to a non operating gas valve port. Will have to return with new gas valve and adjust gas pressure and test unit again. All other systems are operating safely at this time. Have a wonderful fall, Brennan
Preform furnace clean and tune. Cleaned furnace. Removed and cleaned burners. Removed and cleaned drain and drain lines. Inspected electrical, gas piping and venting. Inspected filter. Preformed combustion analysis. System is operating safely at this time. Have a wonderful fall, Brennan
Performed oil furnace clean and tune Inspected and changed oil filter and gaskets Inspected heat shielding Vacuumed out soot from exchanger Refractory is in very poor condition and has not failed Due to the age of the furnace, replacement is preferable to repair.
Performed the level 2 package cleaning. Furnace: Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger is rusting and chipping, however, no cracks located. Combustion readings were normal. No CO detected in the air. Drain is clear. Heat rise was 51°. AC: No leaks detected. Electrical components tested good. Condenser coil is clean. Refrigerant charge was normal. Superheat was 26°. All equipment is operating properly.
Geo c&t. Checked capacitor Ewt 46.7 HE 24.5 kbtu Complete Geothermal Maintenance Verified system is operating properly at this time
Performed preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Checked the furnace heat exchanger. Wiped down the inside of the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace. Performed a furnace combustion test. The furnace is running normally at this time. Performed preferred customer air conditioning cleaning. Checked the indoor coil for leaks. Found confirmed leaks in the indoor coil. Cleaned the condenser unit. Checked the electrical. The electrical is original to the unit. Checked the refrigerant levels. Found that the air conditioner is running low on r22 refrigerant. Recommended getting a second opinnion with my supervisor to go over some options. Office to call the customer to schedule an appointment.
Furnace safety inspection. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger. Found some rust and corrosion, but no cracks found with powder test and camera check. Found burners very rusted and corroded. Checked and cleaned flame sensor. Ok. Checked igniter. Ohmed and tested ok. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Checked electrical connections and clamps. Found clamp on exhaust venting. Tightened clamp. Checked levels of CO and XS air in exhaust. XS air found to be 162. This is higher than desired. This is caused by a probable secondary partial blockage. This will continue to get worse over the next few years. CO was 13. This is within normal range. No CO found in airstream. This system is in need of a maintenance. Other than normal wear and usage, system is operating normal at this time. Yearly maintenance is recommended. Job complete.
Replace boiler. Drained boiler and system piping. Disconnected electrical, venting and boiler system piping. Removed old boiler. Installed new boiler on the wall. Connected piping to the remaining system pipes. Reconnected electrical and venting. Filled and purged system. Installed new WiFi thermostat. Cycled F5 boiler cleaner through system. Purged all cleaned from the system and added F1 protector. Ran and tested unit. Preformed combustion analysis. All systems operating properly at this time. Thanks, Brennan, Brad, Bradley, Scott and Adam
Replaced bad outlet in bedroom
Performed start up on the heat side of the packaged unit. Checked over the wiring. Cycled the unit. Set the gas pressure and performed a combustion test. The package unit is running normally at this time.
Filter was delivered and installed.
Performed generator maintenance and inspected battery. Battery voltage was good, replaced air filter, replace oil and oil filter, replaced spark plugs.
Ac clean and tune. Checked drain line. Checked condenser. Checked compressor, found lower on ohms. Fan motor and compressor tested in caution. Capacitor and contactor are both very worn and weak. Used coil cleaner on condenser coil. Hooked up gauges and checked pressures and temps. Subcooling was at 13. Indoor temp split was 18. Average life of this unit is 14. This unit is well over that and very worn. Future failure is expected. System operating normal at this time. Job complete.
installed 2 receptacles with bubble covers near the area that the lighthouse will be placed. One receptacle is controlled via photo eye. Replaced receptacle near pump and installed bubble cover.
Performed the new furnace start up. No gas leaks detected. Gas and exhaust levels are normal. No CO detected in the air. Venting and electrical components are properly installed. Heat rise was 38 degrees. High limit passed safety check. Unit is heating properly at this time.
Installed new Daikin DM96VE080 gas furnace. Also installed T6 WiFi thermostat. Offered electrostatic filter upgrade and humidifier replacement. May upgrade and/or replace at time of A/C replacement. A/C coil pan is leaking and needs to be replaced.
Was here for a furnace no heat. The furnace wasn’t running when I got here. Reset power to the furnace. Cycled the furnace. The burners would light but the blower motor wouldn’t turn on. Found that the circuit board wasn’t allowing power to the blower motor. The furnace is 17 years old. Recommended that they get a second opinnion with my supervisor Dan to go over repair or replace options. Office to schedule Dan for 9am on Monday morning.
Performed first year furnace cleaning; inspected the exhaust and intake PVC ensuring all connections were secured, removed and cleaned the burners along with the flame sensor, cycled the system on and performed a combustion test verifying no CO in the airstream, also did a refrigerant leak search on the Acoil and did find indicators of a possible leak on the AC system. This system is currently operating normal and heating at 53 degrees at this time. Second opinion scheduled with Dan F today at noon Job complete
Boiler would make a whiny noise. I cycled the boiler. When it had an output of 150000 btu the exhaust blower shroud would vibrate and make a noise. I removed the shroud. We will need to order a new exhaust blower and come back to install it. The boiler is heating at this time.
No heat on oil furnace. The burner was locked out. I checked the cad cell, it was good. Checked clean outs, they were clear. Cycled burner. The burner would try firing but it wasn’t getting constant oil flow. I bled air from the oil line. Cycled the furnace multiple times. It’s heating properly now. No charge since I just cleaned it and forgot to bleed air out of oil line.
No heat on geo unit. I checked unit for fault codes. Found a flow switch fault code. I cleared the code and cycled the geo. It cycled through hydronic heat normally. I checked the flow switch, found it wasn’t aligned correctly on the pipe. I corrected the flow switch alignment. Checked flow center water level. Water is to the top. Level is good. Cycled geo in forced air heat. It’s working properly.
We removed the old furnace and installed a new tempstar furnace. We reconnected all duct, gas line, venting and electrical. Ran new drain line for the furnace only. Cycled the unit, everything is running fine. Thank you
